Please read these terms and conditions carefully. These terms apply to you when you are visiting Little Bee Gallery, and when you purchase a painting from us.
1. Introduction: Little Bee Foundation o/a Little Bee Gallery (“we”, “us”, “our”, “the gallery” or similar) owns and operates the website located at littlebeegallery.com (the “Website”) and any subdomains used in connection with or related to the same. These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your use of the Website and the purchase of artwork from our Website. By accessing our Website and making a purchase, you agree to comply with these Terms.
2. Shipping:
(a) Shipping Method:
- If you are in Canada or the US, the shipping method and cost will be included in the checkout flow on our website.
- Local delivery or pick up may be availalbe free of cost; if that is an available option, it will be noted in the description of the piece and in the checkout flow.
- Please allow 3-4 weeks for shipping.
(c) Tracking: All shipments will include tracking information, allowing you to monitor the progress of your order. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order has been dispatched.
(d) Insurance: Insurance will be provided in the shipping cost for all artwork. If your purchase arrives damaged, please contact us immediately.
(e) Delivery: Please ensure that someone is available to receive the shipment upon delivery.
3. Returns and Refunds: We do not accept returns or offer refunds on purchased artwork. All sales are final. However, in the event of damage during shipping, please refer to the Insurance section above for assistance.
4. Commissioned Work: Commissioned artwork is subject to additional written terms and agreements between the buyer and Little Bee Gallery. Payment terms, timelines, and project specifications will be outlined in a separate contract.
5. Profit Distribution: All profits from the sale of artwork will go towards supporting Beckett Mireault Hickerson's ongoing care and needs. From time to time, we may feature special exhibits or collections with different arrangments with the artist(s), in which case, we will make clear what portion of the sales from that exhibition or collection goes to supporting Beckett Hickerson's care. Payment processing fees, shipping and handling costs, shipping insurance costs, and standard overhead expenses incurred by Little Bee Gallery will be deducted. Unless otherwise noted, artists generously donate their time and artwork at no cost, ensuring the maximum possible support for Beckett.
6. Payment Processing: Credit card payments will be processed securely through a third-party payment processor. Cash payments may be eligible for a discount; please contact us to learn more. Little Bee Gallery does not store or have access to your payment information.
7. Artwork Descriptions and Pricing: While we strive to provide accurate descriptions and images of all artwork, slight variations in color and texture may occur due to differences in display settings and lighting conditions. Depictions of artwork on our website are for illustrative purposes only and may not fully represent the color, texture, or scale of the actual piece. Additional images or videos of artwork can be provided upon request to assist with your purchasing decision. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
8. Intellectual Property: All artwork featured on the Little Bee Gallery website is the intellectual property of the respective artists and is protected by copyright law. The artists retain all intellectual property rights to their artwork, even after sale. No reproduction, distribution, or derivative works of the artwork are permitted without the express written consent of the artist. The Website, including all content, design, graphics, and text, is the intellectual property of Little Bee Foundation and is protected by copyright law. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution of any content from our Website is strictly prohibited.
9. Limitation of Liability: Little Bee Gallery strives to ensure the accuracy and quality of the artwork and information provided on our Website. However, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of the artwork for any particular purpose. In no event shall Little Bee Gallery, its directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with the use or inability to use our Website, the purchase or use of artwork, or any errors or omissions in the content of our Website. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Little Bee Foundation, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorney fees) arising out of or related to your use of our Website or the purchase of artwork.

11. Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, without giving effect to the conflict of laws principles. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is expressly excluded from these Terms. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms shall be resolved through arbitration or mediation.
12. Changes to Terms and Conditions: Little Bee Gallery reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review these Terms and Conditions periodically for any changes.
